Moose Bunnies Peas

So, we've entered the "How old is she?" "She's two" phase! I don't have to do any math or change my answer again until July when she will become 2 1/2!! But I'll still try to update the blog every month or so. After all, Gwyndolyn gets bored of watching the same ol' video and seeing the same few pictures for a whole month - it'd be even worse if she had to wait 2! Isn't it funny how our little ones so enjoy watching each other?! Toriana has begged to watch videos from Ivona's blog over and over and over these past few days. Her absolute favorites seem to be "Emmly" and "Jonny" asking for "bunnies" (Emily and Jonathan asking for bananas!)

We had a great time in S. CA with cousins in late Jan/early Feb. Toriana learned how to jump after countless demonstrations from Kaitlyn and Katrina! We went to the Wild Animal park one day and the highlight was seeing baby elephants. Toriana wasn't too impressed with the 3 flamingo exhibits - "phew!" is the term most closely associated with flamingos for her. They ARE pretty smelly! We enjoyed an evening with Jerry&Lynn and Trevan got to accompany Dave to orientation at Shelter Valley while Jeannie and I took the 4 kids to an excellent farmer's market. Toriana's love for strawberries was re-kindled! We also got to catch a glimpse of Gretchen before heading home.

Gma and Gpa Z came over for President's Day weekend - much of the weekend ended up being funeral-related (and so we saw Aunt Mary, UncleGerry&Aunt Margaret and Uncle Jim, too), but it was nice to be together and we did squeeze in a fun trip to the zoo and a few games.

We're afraid we'll have to pay for it later, but this month has had lots of stellar weather ... so there have been many happy Green Lake walks and playground visits! I wonder how many miles the stroller has on it by now?! I was just noticing our Mazda has 21,100 miles on it so I figure that Toriana has ridden roughly 20,500 miles in her lifetime! Wow...!

But, here she is, no worse for the wear ...
Learning to eat with chopsticks - a great bday present from Max! She is getting it figured out!
At the beach in CA!

Oranges from the trees out back! Yum!
Stories with Auntie Lynn
Sand in the shoes!
Sunday morning kidlets
Toriana loved all of their riding toys - and the fact that we were outdoors using them!

Gretchen and Evelyn!

Back in Seattle ... a family photo of little Zoe who is much loved!
The kids in our Sunday meeting - all awake and present this day!
A great view of the zoo on Gpa's shoulders!
Budding artist?

If you are still reading this, here is the answer to the title riddle, a request made on many occasions - it means "more bananas please"! I have spent over an hour trying to add a video and so I'm giving up and posting without it. Maybe next time!
