Four months old!

So Bryson is 4 months old today!  He celebrated by eating some cake and ice cream.  Well, not really, but you'd think so - he had his checkup today and is a fat and happy 97th percentile for weight.  Yep, that's right, 18# 4 oz at FOUR months and  25 1/2" long (75th percentile).  He is squealing, laughing, smiling like crazy and he holds his head up great with sitting and with tummy time.  But just don't ask him to roll because all of that bulk is just WAY too hard to move!  He's wearing 9 months clothes mostly which poses a bit of a problem given that it's still winter-time around here and we didn't anticipate needing warm 9 mo. clothes!  So we're doing lots of layering.
We are thankful for our healthy, happy little boy and we are glad that his big sister has adjusted to life with a brother and we no longer fear for his physical safety most of the time (ie, for some unknown reason, she was infatuated with his eyeballs, wanting to poke them - ack, that was scary).  Her imagination is just blossoming and she's getting better and better at entertaining herself (and it's quite fun to eavesdrop, I must admit!)  Today she put on her 3D flamingo hat and I pointed out to Bryson that his sister was wearing a hat.  She said "Yes!  A flamingo hat - now I'm a policeman."  Apparently most people skip that paragraph in the uniform guidelines!
Here are a few pictures to document 4 months-ish.  Oh, and I almost forgot!  I must take our next "sticker picture" today, eh, AB?!
I'm loving the extra hour of light, the glimpses of spring, and I'm hoping these teasers of warm sunny weather stick around longer than an hour soon!

Pretty sure he's not looking like a sprinter - maybe a linebacker.  Go Dawgs!

Baby Teagan!  And yes, Bryson DID in fact grab her hand just after this.  Sorry Dave!  We'll keep an eye on him...

He loves to give out lots of smiles!  And we love to receive them!

Little Bryson Arno at four months... don't ya just want to SQUEEZE those chubby cheeks?!

February and a wee bit of March

Mwah!  Happy Valentine's Day

Moby Wraps - for Bryson and for Lambie!  Off to QFC they go...
Look at that CHUB!  The squishiest, softest legs ever!  Not desirable beyond age one, but oh so loveable right now!
Thanks Carolyn for the onesie you gave my sister!
Three months!  (the gift that keeps on giving - thanks AB!)
Yes, Bryson enjoys his thumb and has no problem finding it these days
Tummy time's not too bad when you have a sister to watch!
Bryson at Gordito's, content to just watch as we three devour a yummy burrito!
Thanks Mel!  I love my T pancake!
Wow, is that Justin's living room under all of those toys?!
Fun Sunday lunch with cousin Zariah!  (Lessons learned include slurping noodles.  Um, great!)
Katarina turns 11 with an elegant, delicious chocolate cake and a houseful of friends to share it with
Auntie Heidi helps Toriana make muffins (or vica versa!)
For our Book Party - our favorite character choice??  Fancy Nancy!!  Our library story time was cancelled this week so we had a book party/Dr Seuss celebration at our house instead.
Joe came as Huckle from Richard Scarry
And these are self-explanatory I think!

Playing a fun game that Beth brought
We also had Green Eggs and Ham but the library book I got was very old and the picture isn't so great so you can just imagine it instead!  3 of the 5 preschoolers enjoyed their green eggs and 3 of 3 mommies liked them too.  I loved that the recipe called for a pound of spinach (1/2 of a Costco bag!!).

There, in a photographic essay, is a snippet of our last month.  March is here in all her glory - wind, rain, sleet, blue sky, sunshine, and suddenly sleet again.  But the days are getting longer and the time changes in a couple weeks and the tulips are popping up, so we think that spring and summer are on their way!
