What a great way to cool off on another hot day - playing with Gwyndolyn in her pool is loads of fun - enough to entertain two toddlers for a whole 30 minutes!!

Back home again - the climbing Joseph's Coat rose exploded in our absence! Thanks, Gardener Matthews!!

Many thanks to all the suggestions for convention ... it turns out that the best solution of all was pre-planned long before we needed it - that is, the meeting is piped to numerous spots around the grounds and so we were able to listen from various locales including the nursery, the dining hall, the open-air "hut" with fun gravel to play with, and even from Grandma and Grandpa's trailer. Thursday went well ... and after that we were good for about 30 minutes per mtg, tops ... but thanks to provisions made for listening it worked out just fine and we heard enough to keep us busy, anyway! I have to say that the hair scrunchies were a hit ... and that Toriana has now mastered coloring - on paper, dresses, seat blankets and a number of other worthy destinations. Another very helpful solution was sitting next to cousin Katarina - that was good for nearly a whole meeting! =)
