What a great way to cool off on another hot day - playing with Gwyndolyn in her pool is loads of fun - enough to entertain two toddlers for a whole 30 minutes!!

Many thanks to all the suggestions for convention ... it turns out that the best solution of all was pre-planned long before we needed it - that is, the meeting is piped to numerous spots around the grounds and so we were able to listen from various locales including the nursery, the dining hall, the open-air "hut" with fun gravel to play with, and even from Grandma and Grandpa's trailer. Thursday went well ... and after that we were good for about 30 minutes per mtg, tops ... but thanks to provisions made for listening it worked out just fine and we heard enough to keep us busy, anyway! I have to say that the hair scrunchies were a hit ... and that Toriana has now mastered coloring - on paper, dresses, seat blankets and a number of other worthy destinations. Another very helpful solution was sitting next to cousin Katarina - that was good for nearly a whole meeting! =)
Happy days of ice cream eating everyone ... !

Very nice pictures, and convention pictures. Too bad Toriana is missing from the kids' picture :-(
Gwyndolyn needs "Ana" to come back and play in the pool. It's not as fun by herself.
Fun to see your Chelan pics! And yes, so fun that it's really been feeling like summer! Toriana has already changed so much since we were together last...guess we need to do it again!

Sounds like you're having a great summer so far. I do remember the nursery days of convention! Not sure if it's still the case, but at Milltown, they used to have a playpen with toys in the nursery. That proved to be a good play area so I could sit and take notes too.:)
