"You've gotta be KIDDING ME!"

I was laughing so hard on Friday when T was wearing her new hot pink tutu and in the bathroom and I hear “ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Ants?! You want to eat my TUTU?” We have a definite ant problem around here lately. But they don’t usually eat tutus. Luckily.
But to quote T, who was of course quoting ME, "6 months?!? You've got to be kidding me!" We don't have lots of significant markers from the last 2 months, but day by day they've just marched on by. With all of our rain this winter and spring, I've been really sad that we haven't escaped to a sunny destination and I've vowed that as long as we live in the NW, we won't make the same mistake again if possible!

Bryson's favorite object by far is my blue water bottle.  Guaranteed to distract him from nursing or to make him pause if he's fussy.  Nothing is better than holding and mouthing it.  Here, he's holding it AND watching the front load washer - life is good!
I guess one of the biggest things we've done for the past 2 months is house hunt, mostly online via Redfin.  We've found a few that required investigation, but still haven't discovered our next address, yet.  So meanwhile Bryson's bed continues to be in our room.  At her insistence (and our definite willingness aside from the fear that we'll be awake more than ever at night with them both in the same room!), we've been attempting to move him to Toriana's room.  Last night she was so sweet - every time he squeaked or complained as they were trying to go to sleep, she would start loudly humming a lullaby.  Mama's heart just melted!  And, believe it or not, it worked!  For a couple of hours anyway...
