new baby
typing sideways in bed on T's laptop before konking out ... after 18 hrs of labor, Toriana Grace arrived at 12:27pm today. 7# 6 oz. 19.5" long and 3 near misses shy of a C section. We're exhausted but glad she's here healthy - she seems no worse for the wear - she was a trooper through the long labor! Will post more from home soon! (FYI, it's prounounced "Toreeahna")

Your cousins jumped for joy when they heard of your arrival! Zariah said, "YEAH! My baby cousin is here!Where is she?!" Elizabeth, Katarina and Jonathan ran home from school because they were so excited! So... when you are home and tucked in your cozy bed, we will come and see you... and give you some real, gentle kisses!

Congratulations! We are very very excited for you! You are now a family. Since I didn't want to influence your name choice I never told you that I had a dream that you named her Tulip! (I knew you would be very tempted!) We are thrilled that you chose a name that combines 2 very sweet girls that we know. (Vic- toria, and Ti-anna!) Smart! We cant wait to see her in person!

HOORAY! Didn't even know you were pregnant you guys! Just stumbled upon your blog. Welcome to parenthood! As I type I have one hand on our 4 month old, Miles. Trying to keep him asleep. This bit of trying to get both kids (Wyatt is 21 months) to nap at the same time challenging! One of these days,we'll make it up to Seattle for a visit and get to meet your new bundle of love.
